Did I say mean… I meant sweet, I am so use to hearing her say that… All her fault.
So today is my sisters Birthday and she has become very old …ancient... I can’t risk mentioning how old she has become. I don’t mean that old also, in fact mentally she is still 12.
Now coming to why I am being so sweet to her and writing this..this thing..for her. While I was in the middle of some very important work...as I am a very busy working person who doesn’t waste any time at all..ever, I had a thought..that I don’t remember the last meaningful gift I gave her and so I came up with this.( also all her material needs are way out of my budget). Another reason was because I also couldn’t remember the last time I said something good to her, which finalized my decision to write something for her, considering the amount of lovely things I have to say for her.
She is NEVER confused about anything, EASIEST person to live with, NOT short tempered at all and I am NOT jealous of her life one bit (really I am not, although she is practically living the life I want.. but seriously NO)she is infact my fore runner.
Her prettiness is pretty obvious, my sister na.
She is moody, loves her friends, treats me like some faltu, mentally 12 (as I mentioned earlier already)
Everyone is so proud of her and they talk about it all the time..makes life so hard for me.
Now that I have said so much good stuff, it wont be so bad if I add that she is useless, doesn’t take responsibility , doesn’t do any work …just come for some party bloody
I miss you and I love you…sounds so gay to say, but since I said it already okay fine.
See, isn’t this such a wonderful and meaningful gift for you , am I not the best bro ever :P
Happy Birthday so dumb
Now honestly I was really free and wanted to post something on my blog

A Night to remember, which I don’t
First of all because I don’t have a pr agency to handle my image, I’ll have to do all the repair work /damage control myself (based on whatever little I’ve learnt about pr).
1) I’m sorry for doing stuff I shouldn’t have
2) It’s my first (and last, hopefully) drunken night, so I hope you understand.
3) Thank you to all those who helped me reach home safely and also those who showed concern about my state(who were these people, if there were any )
Now that I have cleared the air (some of it) around my behavior I will have to say that i couldn’t have chosen a better night to go as crazy as I did. Although I don’t remember most part of the night, I have been listening to everybody’s version of it. Of which some are funny, some embarrassing and most of them just plain and simple crazy (this word maybe be used very often).
Before the farewell, my friend (I won’t name him, I’ll just give u a clue..he looks like a terrorist) and I decided that we had to make the night memorable under any circumstances. So when we entered, the firs t thing we did was walk over to the bar and started the round of “I don’t know how many” shots. From then on I remember everything very vaguely and will now spend the rest of my life knowing little bit from here there everywhere. Now, from whatever I have heard till now the story goes like this-
I came in ,drank a lot of shots with everyone possible, was competing with my friend till I had 15 ,lost count after that,Danced through the night, started hugging everyone and told them I would miss em,spoke a lot of crap, had a chilly shot(thought of that still makes me wanna puke),drank from others glasses and bottles,my friends told me that they hve never seen me like this(im really boring at such occasions normally),maybe hit on a few committed girls(with no real intention actually),supposedly a few think I behaved badly(this im sure of I dint ,maybe it’s a relative concept and so they felt I did),puked all over Mumbai, reached my friends house thanks to my friends(this part I don’t remember at all),terrorist looking friend slept on the road fr a couple of minutes, had a bad hangover in the morning.
If anybody knows anything more please add on
Lastly,I always thought of(and was proud of) myself as a very controlled drinker and thought that how can people get so drunk..haha..lesson learnt.
And so ive decided not to drink in the next one ;)
But i did achieve my aim to make it the best night ever,so its all worth it

The NMIMS Chronicles
(The title may not be apt but I just had to have a killer title, I hope the article is too ;)
If you spend 3 years of your life anywhere, doing anything you are bound to make it a part of you (whether you like it or not).So goes with my 3 years at my college (NMIMS, of course). And as always everyone feels that their story is worth telling and better than the rest . So do I ;). Seriously though, my story is good...See...That’s what I am talking about. But I’ll leave it up to you to decide…
…Sometime during the summer holidays in Year 2007
I had been attending classes regularly for the BMS entrance exam (CCEE, I think) preparation. I got this leaflet about a new course offered by NMIMS (I have heard of NM, what the hell is IMS for?)
BMS entrance scrapped, holy s***
I had already screwed my 12th boards (thanks to the distractions in my life, especially this chic who sat right in front of me during the exam’s), that was my only opportunity (of not doing B.COM, I wanted to do something worthwhile) and I dint even get a chance to blow it myself.BMS cut off‘s were breaking records (as if they were competing with Sachin) and so there dint seem to be much light at the end of the tunnel.
NMIMS, my savior
After all had been lost, this was my last chance to do something in management (ok, administration) but it was not as easy as I thought it would be .No, not the exam, that was easy (I had prepared enough for the BMS entrance). I had been the last (or second last maybe) person to get the form (yeh, that’s me, I wait for the last minute…literally), then later that night (a Saturday) I realized that I had to send the form to Delhi… by Monday! That was the time God sent Blue dart to my rescue, who could get it to Delhi in a day.
Then came the exam which as I said, was not the problem. The personal interview went well too. My rank was 55 after all that, but I still dint make it in the first list (Damn you gujju quota) and I had no choice but to try other colleges.
A week later at 6 A.M
My friend calls me up, “dude, you got in to NMIMS in the second list”. I said what? A second list? Since when did I get lucky? God really wants me there (Now I understand why, it was more of a punishment, I must have done something real bad).I pay up my fees (later on, not at 6.02 A.M) after a lot of evaluation of...No alternatives as such...Just BCOM and that, and a slight chance of UPG BMS maybe.
Just the Beginning
Finally, I thought that all the bad was behind me now (actually, it was behind me, it never went anywhere) and from here on everything would be merry (I was so wrong).
Friends
1st trimester, not a single person I know (chances of that, pretty slim). But still, It started off well with everyone looking for friends who would fit their requirements, (so basically the skimming process). Where a bunch of people hang out and get to know each other .I also did a bit of that but was mostly pre occupied with my other friends. I was group hopping I think for almost the entire 1st year, by the end of it I had found the perfect match (and we have been committed since then haha).
Learning Experience, the lessons learnt.
After two and a half years at NMIMS everybody knows “The Secret” to studying at NMIMS. (Wish I had known earlier, I would not have been a two point someone). Its basically the usual “MUG UP EVERYTHING” and the good old “COPY PASTE” for projects. So the lessons I have learnt are more practical and life based rather than the one’s taught by our Prof’s. Don’t get me started on the Prof’s though, I might not finish. While we have been competing on our GPA’s (not me, I’m out of the race, was never in it actually) they all have been competing with each other on how bad they can teach, and so we haven’t got a clear winner as to the worst. But just to keep myself happy and not feel that I have wasted 3 years of education I can say that some were decent. (Like maybe 2…max 3).
Success, only after failure
I had got a re exam in my 2nd trimester thanks to some unhealthy Chinese I ate during the coldest night in Mumbai till date. And of all the subjects it had to be Eco, the subject which gives me sleepless nights a day before the exam or makes me sleep when I look at the book a month before the exam. I some how managed to pass my exam and it wasn’t fun. I would miss a whole damn year and I get the news about my getting promoted a day before the second year starts, so technically I got 1 day of vacation. As If that wasn’t enough I got a double bonanza a year later when I got 2 K.T’s in my 6th trimester and this time too it wasn’t because I deserved to fail. My internal marks had a problem (yeh, in both subjects) but I had to give the exam again and had to go through hell again.
“Time” value of money
Later if in my life I am blamed for not being punctual, NMIMS gets all the credit (or debit...I don’t get accounts btw ,I calculate my expenses so easily ,why do they have to complicate it so much) 1st of all they don’t keep fixed timings for anything. Secondly they have spoilt me so bad by not being strict that now I can never reach on time (even if I want to).
Now I can go on and on and on writing about NMIMS .But I haven’t graduated yet and so I have a lecture at 9 tomorrow (yeh ... I won’t reach on time, but still)
However they were, they were the best days of my life (summer of 09 ;)

My 1st fictional story
This is another 1st for me(i am hving a lot of 1st's now, maybe because im trying different things),its a story(not mine)a fictional one which i had written in 1 hour for a college event.
Another thing i wanted to add was that the problem with having written something like my earlier article it becomes difficult to get you to not compare my other articles with it...basically what i want to say is,this story ive written sucks, but its the best i could do for my 1st, so please bear with it and dont stop readin my blog.I will try postin somethin better(hopefully)soon.
Its a Tale merger of sleeping beauty and jack and the beanstalk to say, but i havent borrowed much.(also their writers and me, are not chetan bhagat and raju hirani respectively,so no controversy here)
Title - Then, now and when?
Part 1 - Year 1933 to 1949
Way back in the mid 20th century there was King Francesc Fabregas who lived with his wife Maria Sharapova, who became Maria Fabregas after marriage. Maria had belonged to a family of warriors and was won over by a Fellow warrior (francesc).
They were a weird combination with he being 5 ft 6 and she …was 6 ft tall!! But love doesn’t look at height, weight and so they were very happy in each other’s company.
The sad part though was that Maria could not bear a child and they wanted one with all their heart, for there family to go on for many more years to come.
Suddenly one day, while Maria had gone for a swim in the pond, a frog came out of no where and granted her one and only wish, that of a child (he read her mind).
Soon they had a beautiful girl and they named her Shruti, reason being, they were in love with India and so they always wanted an Indian name for their child (derived from Shruti Hassan)
During Shruti’s christening ceremony, when everything was going joyful for the couple, an evil fairy (or witch) cursed them that their child would die when she would turn 15 or 16 years of age. This terrified the Fabregas’s and they immediately took help from a good fairy to remove the curse.
The curse was irreversible, but there was another option they had, i.e., to go to sleep for a 100 years and wait for a “true love’s first kiss” for the young princess, so that the witch’s curse would not have any effect.
Soon, what was most feared had happened and in 1949 the curse of the evil witch came true and everybody in the castle was put to sleep…
Part 2-Year 2009
Jack was a son of a poor mother. They had a very disturbing life. They did not have any food to eat as the recession in the market had caused a tremendous price rise and reduced their purchasing power.
Money soon ran out and their only asset left was a cow. Mother told jack “son, go to the market and sell the cow at the best possible price, so that we get enough money to buy food till the markets are stable again and we get our jobs back”.
The son obeyed and walked towards lokhandwala market to sell his cow. While going there I met him… I offered him 7 magical beans for his cow. He rejected my offer straight away saying it was too less. He carried on to the marker and reached there faster than the cars thanks to the killing traffic and the shoddy roads.
Once he reached his destination he tried real hard to sell his cow at McDonald’s but they did not want a cow, they said they use only pork in making their burgers. He tried not getting distracted by the chic’s shopping and just do what he was suppose to(sell his cow). But even after trying so hard ,at the end of the day he was going home with what he had come with.
I met him again on his way back and said “Dude, take these magical beans, they’ll work, I’m telling you, just gimme your cow, it’s faster than the cars and gives super mileage also. And anyways I don’t have place to plant these beans”. He though for a moment and then agreed to the offer as if he had no choice, but it was a good deal you see. I introduced myself after the sale “I am Shivam and you are?”he was already gone by then.
Jack reached home and as expected his mom was furious at her son. She wished that if only her son was as street smart as the person who sold him the beans. She threw out the beans that instant.
The next morning the beans had grown into a tree with its height surpassing the sky. Both mother and son were amazed. Jack decided to climb up the tree. He reached the sky and then …the black hole had sucked him in and he went round and round …and round …
Part 3- Year 2049(not love story 2050 please)
Part 3- Year 2049(not love story 2050 please)
Jack heard some screaming, he thought it was a dream, then suddenly he got up .H realized he had a reached some place new. Everything was HUGE. He heard the screaming again, it was a giant... It was “Khali”. Jack hid behind a table but khali saw him, so jack ran out of the house and into the world, a new world .Where cars were going to water (not necessary that they always fly around in the future).A new under water city had been built .Jack was amazed at what he was looking (while he was still running away from khali)
Khali then feel into the hole created by the tree (beanstalk) and was now in 2009. Meanwhile as Jack was running he came across a castle which was still old looking and was cut off from the world. He went towards it as if something was pulling him .When he finally reached not before scarring and bruising himself allover he saw the world’s most beautiful girl and did not think twice before kissing her. That was the time when the sleeping beauty awoke and jack fell in love (his golden egg was the “sleeping beauty” herself).
Now there are 3 endings I have in mind, chose what u prefer.
Original end
Jack then went back to 2009, got his mother to 2049 and lived a luxurious life with Shruti forever. Although he does come once in a while just to thank me(over and over again ,after all he does owe me big time)or just to see me (mostly during diwali holidays ,how else would I know this story anyways? )
Another
Jack had married Shruti and now settled there. But one day as Jack was flipping through channels on TV he saw Swades and remembered his mother and his life in 2009 .So decided to go back to get his mother from 2009 but he wont be able to get his life. Will he be able go back to 2049 is to be seen...I am still trying to get him to stay. I’ll let you know what happens.

I’ll let you know what happens.

destinyyy..i love you
This is my first attempt at writing something about love, relationships, girls, etc (I know it sounds gay but this one’s more about the story, which btw I had to tell). And It may sound familiar or filmy but basically everybody has the same old story with a few things changed here and there.1 more thing, I am writing after quite a long time and so it may not be so good you know (not like I was Sydney Sheldon before but still)
I’ll start of with a little background of the situation
In school I was the regular shy guy and thought that girls were monsters, whom you dare not to talk to. As time passed I realized that guys are supposed to be the monsters for girls and not the other way around.
In junior college I became a dog (that’s the way girls greet us in this generation, yeh that makes them bitches) and soon I was in line with the other dogs who had started their race a lot before me. I went up to girls randomly and screwed my image, reputation, impression, respect, ego (whatever u want to call it) just to get that a little bit of fun (by embarrassing yourself in public) but it payed off big time in the long run as I made a lot of good friends throughout all that.
Soon college dint feel alien anymore and I was a part of the “crowd”. After a lot of flirting around and stuff, I met this chic with whom it clicked (it rhymed!!).I’ll call her “damn cute” .We became friends, then good friends ,then boyfriend girlfriend ,then best friends and then back to good friends and friends and then do I know you?, but that’s all later.
Getting to the story…
During our way to friendship everything was all sweet, cute, lovely, etc (and all the other words girls use). Then came the dreaded board exams and everybody was tensed about their exams .I too was tensed, not for my boards though, but about this chic (her name “super cute”) who sat right in front of me during my exams (I lost so many marks thanks to her) .It started with a “best of luck” and I believe in destiny … not luck, but luck too was on my side that day(before the exam when I had seen her I had wished she sat near me). After that we spoke everyday and I was totally mad about her at the end of it.
But but but, it wasn’t so easy, I had to mess up somewhere and I did. On the day of the last exam, which was math’s (I love math’s usually but with her everything was doing a role reversal, luck was on my side and math’s wasn’t), my paper went bad and I was frustrated so I just walked out of the class without even saying bye .I dint take her number and the reason for that is…My ego which I hate like hell but can’t get rid off so easily.
I went home and regretted what I had done for many months to come, my friends were tired of listening to the story and about super cute but I wasn’t tired of repeating it. Until one day, I got a second chance during admissions for degree but I won’t bore you with that story and just say that, that too dint work out (go ahead, its ok, you can call me a loser)
During all this I was getting ahead with damn cute and had reached the bf/gf phase as I had thought that I had lost my chance(s) with super cute and so I should just forget about her. Also I had started liking damn cute, so I was happy and for the next 2 years during my degree college I went on with life (with super cute still at the back of my mind)
After a couple of years, I was on “do I know you?” stage with damn cute which was not because of super cute but because now I wanted damn hot and super hot or even just hot.
I dint get any of those (people say the reason for that is because they are way outta my league, what the hell man, how do you join that league). For now I am still finding the path to that league but the news is that I found super cute on face book (some use of the hours spent there) but how I found her is another funny story which in fact is the reason that motivated me to write this article.
This is all a little too much to digest at 1 time and also I have a lot more to do in my life so ill continue later sometime.
